  • Cover up 24/7. Regularly swipe on gloss, balm or hydrating lipstick. If your lips are chapped, switch to a non-irritating, flavor-free toothpaste formula. Keep the air moist in your home. Dry air is a common cause of chapped lips. Use a humidifier in your home, especially at night, to help keep the lips moist. Try not to lick your lips. Many people mistakenly lick their lips when they start to feel dry. Lip licking will actually cause your lips to dry out even faster. Wear a scarf. On windy days, cover your face with a scarf. Wind can cause lips to become chapped. Drink plenty of water. High fluid intake will prevent the lips from drying out.
  • Brush your lips after you brush your teeth, Don't use toothpaste tho. Use warm water. Then wipe ur lips w/ a damp wash cloth. Then hold the cloth there for 20-30 seconds. After you do all that put Blistex, Chapstick, or what ever lip balm you have on. Make sure you do this everyday or chaplips will come back. BTW this will not work as soon as you do it thats why you have to keep doing it. Also make sure you put lip balm on before you leave your house or else the huminidy will make them chapped.
