  • Pro rules stipulate that the glove itself cannot be white or gray or in the judgment of an umpire distracting in any manner. The rules do not specifically address logos or other stitching that can be applied to the glove. So unless the umpire judged the flag to be distracting (and I doubt that would happen), nothing else in the rules would prohibit the display of a US flag. That is not true under all rule codes, however. High school rules prohibit any white on the pitcher's glove including white stitching in the manufacturer's logo. So under High School rules, the white stripes and stars on the US flag would be "technically" prohibited.
