On a first date the guy would usually do the gentlemanly thing and drive to pick the girl up. Since I am the guy, I would drive. Later on after the first couple of dates, she or I can drive since it doesn't matter to me.

unless you have a hot car or want to really bad, I am driving. I just prefer to be behind the wheel. being a helpless passenger is stressful to me so I avoid it unless it costs me something.
