Been there, got that T-shirt. Not as "moving" as I had expected. It was a long time ago. Just another big rambling house that used to be owned by a very rich guy but is now just a monument.
-
Ya. Where is it?
-
It's not one of my top things in the world to see. I loved Elvis, but not enough to make me want to see Graceland, unless I was in the neighbourhood for something else...now the Motown Studios...that's another thing altogether.
-
Yes, I would like to someday.
-
been there several times with different people who wanted to go, when they came to visit me.
-
yes i would love too.:)
-
No. Went past that city on the way to Nashville. Didn't see the need to even stop. Just another empty house. Buffalo Bill Cody's ranch (house) is the same.
-
Yes. But, only for historic value. I am not an elvis fan.
-
Been there...done that
-
oh yes - it would be great - even better if we could pay to have a look inside!

Oh, I would love to see it someday. I still remember the day he died. Everyone was soooo sad!! My mother and a sister both had tickets to the concert he was to play in Portland. My sister's mother-in-law actually met the man at his first concert here in Maine. She said she was a chambermaid at the hotel he was staying at. She was carrying a basket of fruit to a room on the floor he was on and an apple dropped off and rolled across the floor. He picked it up, wiped it off on his shirt and thanked her for it.

Have been there and took the tour through, he was a very casual person from the decor and size of the home, to me at least. I used to live a couple of blocks away from Graceland. Huge throngs of ppl would come on his b'day at the anniv. of his death holding vigils. I think thats silly, frankly.

No, never been on my list of places to see..:)

Only if to piss on it! Elvis was one of the most over-rated ripoff artists in the history of music. he stole every song he preformed from poor black musicians who couldn't get a fair contract or radio air time becouse of the color of their skin. the mere mention of the name Elvis makes me physically ill! The only thing that makes him a "king" is that he died while sitting on "the throne".

I visited in 1988...

I'M FROM "GREENLAND"!
