• Untold thousands. There are 250+ wrecks off New Jersey alone-- WW I and WW II torpedo victims, U-boats, ocean liners, fishing boats, tugboats, etc. Worldwide, who knows?
  • According to the WGS (World Geocache Society) headquartered in Munich, there are 17,147 known wrecks that have not yet been reached by treasure hunters or archaeologists. There are 14,057 major wrecks that have been visited. Many of the wrecks will never be reached because they have not been found or are in waters too deep to be reached without major cost. Unless treasure is known to be on board there is little reason, besides historical interest, in their exploration.
  • i have no idea
  • A lot more than we could know. would love to discover one and explore.
