  • The photo should be nude if all of your modelling will be nude. Maybe a pose like this: http://www.room4art.com/resized_img/male-model_398_550_0.jpg Quite a good one to start with as most people can hold it for quite a while. Don't choose one that you couldn't hold for at least 5 minutes, or they might get you to do that one and hold it for 10. ;)
  • Make sure you show your hands... they're the most difficult part of the body to draw. Most common pose I can think of is the "thinking" one and then there's the "covering the privates" one. =)
  • You can do poses that are standing, kneeling, sitting, or recumbent (i.e. lying down). Yes, the photo should indeed be nude, but it doesn't have to be fancy. A polaroid, or digital photo ought to do the trick. I would try several poses though.
