Tubal ligation....worked really well:)
-
Condoms

I'm on the Nuva Ring now (since January) but I'm thinking of going back to the Depo shot (I was on that for a year before switching to the ring) - both are WAY much easier for me to deal with than any pills or patches.
-
Tubal ligation - it's been working for 25 years without any problems.
-
hysterectomy..never had a problem since

Contraceptive Film.

The Pill

abstinence. I have never had sex with anyone but my wife and never had a kid with anyone but her. other than that the only time she has gotten pregnant is when not on any kind of birth control. pill, and shot both worked for us.
-
by not having sex has always worked 100% of the time. :P
-
Abstinence works wonders. Seriously, I haven't been on Birth Control since I was about 17 years old and I was only on it for about a year. Too many complications.
-
Condom with spermicidal lubricant. Hasn't failed me yet.

I'm on the nuva ring right now. It's pretty good. Don't have to remember to take a pill, it's inexpensive, doesnt leave a sticky film like the patch, and is less risky than the shot, or other longer term BC methods (ligation, hysterectomy, norplant, IUD) Talk to the health clinic lady (it's always anonymous) and they have lots of info. as for info on the neuva ring go to www.nuvaring.com

Abstinance will work unless you're the virgin mary. lol But seriously, if you're gonna have sex anyway the safest method I can think of is using the pill (or ring or IUD) and condoms. Nothing is 100% effective except abstinance, but that combination is hard to beat. ^^ For the past year I've been on Yaz and using condoms and it hasn't failed me yet. :P

i was on "the shot" for years and it worked great. plus you don't have a period either. my sister in law is on "the ring" and it's been working for her for a couple of years now. good luck!

The depo injection is very affective
-
The NuvaRing...its a small vaginal ring you stick up your vagina once a month, and then you take it out for a week to have your period. I'm not an expert but I have heard that it is more affective than most there BC. I love it, it's easy. You can take it out when you have sex and put it back in after.

Condoms and the withdrawal method (pulling out) because the pills, shot or patch can make u gain weight. The iud can rust inside u. I did the tubal reversal and it works but I no longer have a sex drive and am suffering from btls so just go with the first one trust me...

I've been on Nuva Ring for 3 years now and LOVE it. The only problem is that it makes things really wet down there for a day or two after I put it in, and it smells just a little funny.
