My Sister it was a horrible time for my entire family, I highly reccomend avoiding this whole cancer thing if you can, It's not a lot of fun :-(

yes..my father died at age 49 from colon cancer and my grandmother had breast cancer

well, my dad had skin cancer, but it was discovered and removed without much trouble. He's fine and healthy today

Mom died of it. Father probably will too if he continues to smoke. Aunt. Great aunt. Grandmother. All breast or lung cancer. Sad.

Only on my mother's side ... my mother died of cancer in 1983 ... her sister had a breast removed in 1991 and survived ... and now, my cousin (mother's sister's daughter) is going through chemo ...

every family is affected by cancer.even if someone in your family doesn't get cancer they will know someone that gets it and will still affect them

My Grandmother and (i guess this one doesn't count, but w.e.) my best friend died of Cancer. These losses have motivated me to train myself into condition to run marathons for cancer research, and to donate a percentage of my salary to research. I think if a person is able to, they should do the same.

Yes, my mother. She's got breast cancer and is currently doing her chemotherapy. Yesterday she was put in the hospital for precautionary reasons because her white blood cells are low. They think she'll be able to come home by Monday. I soon gotta take off again, God Bless.
