I used to take deliveries when I was working at Quiznos and we had a GPS and it always took the longest way to get to the persons house. Way to waste my gas Mr. GPS.

If I have no flipping clue where I'm going...I use GPS. The GPS that FedEx uses is kind of crappy. The computer calculates a route consisting of mostly right turns... I don't know why it does that....but it does :P

You should check the settings on the GPS. They will often give you a choice between the fastest route and the shortest route. The fastest route may take you out of your way but put you on roads with higher speed limits. This would allow you to get to your destination more quickly despite the fact that it is a longer distance.

The directions assume you will be traveling by car unless you specify otherwise.
