  • Who ever told you it was legal to lie about the father of a baby is mistaken. It is fraud and can be prosecuted.
  • The reason for this is that there is a break down of communication between the the legeslative laws and the laws pertaining to federal monies. and then we are on a different playing field. The problem seem that the man in question has not brought this information to pertaining to having a DNA test to prove that it is or it is not the mans child and that cost would prove or disprove and then your answer is right there in front for all to see and the federal laws will then have no other course of action other than to deny or grant payments
