  • Lieing. By far, everyone has lied before.
  • i was going to say killing but i also think lying is probably the most common

Sin = imperfection...Adam and Eve, in the garden, were created perfect, then disobeyed Jehovah...becoming imperfect [ sinners] And the outcome was to grow old and die. (Genesis 2:16, 17) Jehovah God also gave this command to the man: ?From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.? Before this, there was no death... And now even babies die...so they are ' sinners', having done nothing wrong. So sin is imperfection, and not always doing the wrong thing. Jesus' death has PAID for death to be removed... He died for our [ sins] imperfection...
  • A false sense of separation from God
  • Pride or Envy
  • Lust... I believe that is a sin, right?
    • Thinker
Lust in itself is not a sin. You probably lusted after anyone you desired to date otherwise you would not have asked them for a date or marriage. The sin is in coveting what belongs to another. Covet is the sin word.
  • Toss up between Greed, Lying, pride.
  • Sex with houshold items and/or livestock.
  • Gluttony
  • Interesting question... Greed and Envy, then Lust.
  • If lying is a sin, that has to be the 1 on the sin parade.
  • Self centeredness
  • i didn't see that in the Commandments
  • Lack of compassion!!
  • Definitely lust..
  • Lying, coveting, lust....in that order.
  • Lust and Lieing
  • Pridefulness.
  • 8-18-2017 Sin, singular, is the absence of spirit. Sins, plural, are mistakes such as throwing a dart and missing the mark. Read a chapter of Proverbs every day. Proverbs has 31 chapters so you can keep your place by just looking at a calendar. There is no religion or nothing in Proverbs and you don't have to believe anything. Just read every day. When you are comfortable with that, then read the bible from Romans to 2 Thessalonians over and over until you start to remember what it says. That is the part that applies to Christians. You will notice that most of the religious crap you hear from random preachers isn't in there at all. It is made up.

  • The most common sin are actually sinners who can relate to the passage of Timothy. 2 Timothy 3:1-7 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
  • Anything against God's will. The Bible says all sins are equal. James 2:10 - For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one he is guilty of all.
    • Thinker
Did you know the OT laws never pertained to the gentiles but only to the Jews. Jesus said so in Romans 10:4. Gentiles who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and have Him as their Saviour are under the Law of Love. If you wish to know if something is a sin ask these two questions: 1) does this action defile or blaspheme the Lord God? 2) Does this action cause any physical injury, or mental problem, or place a stumbling block before a fellow Christian? If you can answer "No" to both questions it is a pretty good bet the action is not a sin and approved by the Lord God. Love does no harm to another person.
    • Rick Myres
James 2:10 is just one of the verses that shows all that is outside God's will is sin. Jesus said Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
    • Thinker
The word here is "fulfill" Jesus fulfilled all the Law of God thu s making it not pertaining to anyone whom believes in Him.
    • Rick Myres
Yes this true that those of us who are in Jesus are justified by Him. Jesus makes all the difference. The sad thing is there are people still living under the law because they reject Jesus. God bless you brother in Christ.
