  • Honestly, that makes me think of babysitters adopting children....
  • i don't see why not, my mother did an amazing job of raising my sisters and me. she would've been amazing had she adopted as well.
  • I think children benefit most from having two loving parents (whether they be two women, two men or one of each) but sadly life doesn't follow ideals. Children who are up for adoption are housed in foster homes and care centers, where they don't always feel they belong and there's no real sense of permanency. There are so many kids in the system it's impossible for them all to get the individual attention they need. That's no life for anyone, let alone a child. A child might be adopted by a happily married couple, but who knows what will happen in the future? That couple could be divorced the following year, should social services take the child back? I firmly believe it would be better for these children to be adopted by a loving parent than left to fester in government care.
  • Yes I personally don't think anybody should be put into a box of who can and who cant (except in certain circumstances) :)
  • If they can support them, love them, and provide a stable home for them, I don't see why not.
  • A lot of children need a loving home. Shouldn't matter if thre is one or 2 parents when so many are in need.
  • Absolutely.
  • Yes, they have all the human rights to adopt children.
