  • Yeah that would suck. Jesus would essentially be the worst mass murderer of all time, killing well over half the world's population in an instant.
  • In all honesty, if Jesus were to return I think he would send all his Christians and other denominations to hell right along with everyone else. I don't think Jesus would like the state his religion is now in. I think he'd be more apt to save the hippies, Buddhists, goths, ets who are all about saving the planet and treating each other with respect and love.
  • I can't imagine anything better than being with my Savior. If you don't know Him, imagine a precious caring father who loves and adores you and who actually suffered and died for you. Not one of us is worthy, not even the person who may appear to be. Our humanity does not allow us to be sinless. Thank God he sent Jesus to save those of us who choose to know Him. Jesus does not wish that any should perish and His return will come when all who are willing have been saved. Although there are many signs today which fulfill the prophecies and seem to indicate the day is near, only God knows when the time is right. Praise God!
  • If Jesus returned today, he would not judge, he said;"Judge ye not, less ye be judged", so why would he judge anyone, if you live your live and do not judge others for theirs, you'd be with Jesus!
  • Well I'm sorry to disappoint you but I am Jesus and I'm back. Therefore from the fact that you are posing such a ridiculous question on this terrible forum I'm considering you as a gay so off to hell with you.
  • I do love your questions. They always get a giggle... Honestly, if Jesus came back and killed off most of humanity, I wouldn't blame him. Probably had a chip on his shoulder for two thousand years. If I were Jesus, I'd just be sitting up in Heaven muttering "Crucify ME?! I'll show you thorns... You just wait..." The Second Coming is just religious jargon for Divine Payback.
  • We started the wars not him, and I don't think hes going to kill gays ( he made them that way ), or even Jews, Hmmmm.... Athesists may have a bit of explaining to do... :-)
  • he will probably be a little more tasteful about saying that he was the son of god and all that... having learned the first time what happened he would just stay low key... he would not kill people i bet unless they killed him again... he would quit his position as tour guide to heaven and tell Satan that no body believes in him anymore
  • When Jesus ascended into heaven he gave the great commission which is to go into the whole world and let every one know about Me. Obviously, that hasn't happened yet. So, if anyone is anxious to see Him come, they better start spreading the gospel. Holy wars were men's fault not His. And He isn't going to kill A's, B's, C's etc.... Everyone who believes in Him will spend eternity with him.
  • We all want a perfect world, where there is no hurt, no war, no pain. But, in order to get that world, sin (ie rebellion, disobedience, egosim) has to disappear. That is what God has always been saying: if you think of yourself, your pleasures, your rights, then you get a world destroyed. However, if you focus outside yourself, on God, then change can be effected. Then you get the MOther Theresas in the gutters of India, the Father Damiens living amongst the lepers, the Amy Carmichaels saving unwanted children, the Blind Missions giving free cataract surgery to the poor, the teachers who give up their comfortable lives to go and teach in developing countries, the Wilberforces who end slavery. What you are saying is: I want the perfect world, but I don't want anything to change, especially myself. Sorry, it isn't going to happen. It can't. There has to be a standard, and Jesus has set it. He lived as a perfect human in an imperfect world. He died as a sacrifice for the sins of the entire world, and he rose. He has the right to judge, because He has been where we are and he has never sinned, unlike us. He has always put the will of the Father before His own. And when he returns, I will be glad, because this sinner, me, will be with him forever. NOt because I am better than you or anyone else. ONly because of Jesus' sacrifice. I am willing to admit my wrongs, my imperfections, my egoism, and I am willing to change and be changed. I am waiting for him to return, with great joy. I want the suffering to disappear, the crying, the mourning. I see it too often when I work amongst the poor in Indonesia and other parts of the world. I want their suffering to be eased, and those who have caused it brought to justice. Sadly, a lot of people will refuse to acknowledge that they are part cause of the whole mess. It was never meant to be like this. Give me his return, and whenever it comes, I will be ready and waiting: And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. 5 He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! REvelation 21
  • Jesus will return whether many want Him to or not. Jesus will destroy His "enemies" which will include atheists, gays, Jews and all non-believers. The salvation message has been preached throughout the world for 2000 years so mankind is without excuse. If the Gospel message is heard but rejected, a person has no one to blame but him or her self. Warning after warning has been given to the world through Scripture but the problem with humanity is that no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions, they simply blame someone else. When Jesus returns, that excuse won't cut it any longer. Mankind has blasphemed God, raped, pillaged, murdered each other, mounted countless wars that they blame Jesus or God for, destroyed the innocence of children, destroyed vast amounts of this earth, used up natural resources at an alarming rate, caused famines, drought, pestilence, diseases. You name it, mankind has done it. Is it any wonder why Jesus is coming again wielding a two-edged sword? Is it any wonder why Jesus is coming again to destroy those who have martyred millions of His church? The Almighty God is a loving God but He is also a holy and righteous God and His Justice will be served. Jesus will return when God finally says, Enough is Enough. Some may ask why hasn't Jesus come sooner. Because He wants as many people to turn to Him as possible but the time for this is running out.
  • WOW, a bunch of genocidal bastards answering this question, eh? Bring your holy downrates!
  • Wait...where did you hear this? Jesus wasn't sent to destroy lives, but to save them. He wouldn't kill anyone...in fact, He loves atheists, gays, Jews, and all the non-believers, and that's why He died for all of them...so that they wouldn't have to go to hell for their sins. He wouldn't have died for us all (ALL of us...not just certain people) if He didn't have this amazing love for us all. A person only goes to hell if they refuse to take the way out He offers. As for Jewish people, Jesus WAS a Jew. He loves them as He loves the rest of us, even though they also refuse to believe He is their savior. I'm not sure who told you that Jesus was coming to kill everyone who doesn't believe in Him, but that's just not true. Also, those wars were not caused by Jesus, but by self-righteous people who think that they have to threaten people with death to get them to convert, which goes against everything Jesus taught. Those people are extremists and they're incredibly wrong in what they do. They aren't really following Jesus, but their own twisted beliefs.
  • Nah he doesnt sound like a very nice person. Never mind how you interperit the Bible, if you interperit it then your making it wrong. It was meant to be taken seriously and it puts the fear of God up your spine.
  • i think that if jesus returned, he would be put in an insane asylum. no one would believe him and we would try to find explanations for miracles he preforms to prove his self.
  • Odd how you say he is going to kill "the Jews"... You do remember that Jesus was a Jew!? What, do you think he's going to commit suicide?
  • Jesus will come back to stop all wars and make the world peaceful. Jesus never started any wars. Also, He never has and never will kill anyone to send them to Hell. People send themselves to Hell. He gave us warnings 2000 years ago. If anybody refuses to listen to His warnings then that is not His fault. You are seriously misinformed about Jesus.
  • You suffer from a distressing derth of information. : (
  • oh please... if he was fair dinkum he would take out all the religious zealots that have started all the wars and all the hate crimes against fellow human beings and used his name to do so ... now that would only be a good thing as the world could rest in peace as it would not have to put up with these hypocrites any more
  • I would love to see Jesus return. Then the Christians will have their damn Rapture as he takes his followers with him, and the world will be all the better for it.
  • When Jesus returns, it will be to return peace and justice to a world that has been without it for a very long time. And as I understand it, most of the killing will already have happened courtesy of the Antichrist. It's a rescue mission, not an excuse for killing.
  • LoL. The jews are the chosen people. Besides the date has been postponed for his returned far long enough. The reason it has taken so long is cuz he wanted to give the people more time to look at their ways, and more time to try and change the way they are living. God loves gays and athiests, and non-believers...thing is, they dont love him back. He waits and waits, and has given them chance after chance. The only reason they would go to hell is because they choose to go to hell. It wasnt that he wants to smite them and cast them into torment. Its the reason that they dont want a God, and when God is love...and God is all that is good, and they dont want a God...where do they go? a place with no love, a place with no good....it is an eternal seperation from God. I will be glad the day comes. In the end they will see, and they will finally understand, and come to peace with it. Who knows what happenes after that though...But the world will become awesome, and experiences are about to happen. I think it will be cool. Im not looking forward, im just living right now...which is enough for me. I like life. We just hang out with family, the kids...friends...and do what we do, but if it comes. Ill be right here waiting.
  • prophet Mohammed tell us about Jesus return and we Muslims do wait for him he will live with us 70 years (i'm not sure but the number is very close) at that time .. the world will live in peace and there will be no poverty. when he return..he will stay in the earth and no one will know him except little .. he will kill the evil massiah and he will pray in Jorsalim .. Al-mahdi (a muslim man) will say to Jesus be our imam (leader) in this pray..jesus will say no i prefer to pray behind one from Mohammed people.. so be our imam the relegion of the world will be Islam I know it will be a big shock for chrestian .. but this is the truth .. and a lot of chrestian will belive in him as a prophet and be a muslim 4: ((And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), but must believe in him ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allah and a human being], before his death ))
  • Yeah this atheist would like to see his nibs show up. If anything else get these damned Christians to STFU!
  • HE brought the PEACE...man started and made the war & wars...."IT IS NO SECRET" , we can ALL, INDIVIDUALLY, have the PEACE ,HE OFFERED....and ALL can avoid eternal death.... THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE VALLEY , FOR ME, SOMEDAY....NO MORE SADNESS,SORROW OR TROUBLE it is ironic....woke up singing this hymn...:)
  • I hope he does return. Then, he can take all of his followers away in their little rapture, and I can relax, knowing that no fundies will be knocking on my door at 7AM trying to convert me... Bliss....
  • WOW that is offensive
  • So if you don't want him to return, you would have to first believe that he is coming back. And I guess the fact that you believe but don't want him to return makes you a conscientious objector of the return of Jesus? Man, that's deep; I am going to think on this statement for a while.
  • I think schmee hit the nail on the head. Jesus won't come again until His preparatory work here is finished ... and one important part of that is that He will give everybody the proper chance to know about Him, and plenty of time and chances to repent of their wicked ways and choices. Schmee is right. Atheists, murderers, rapists and 'gays' will have completely chosen against a life with God by then; they will not be comfortable in His presence at all: in fact, they will want to hide and run from Him and shun Him. As it will be time that God reclaims the earth that He made and time for it to expereince peace and to make it into a completely peaceful home for those who have suffered at the hands of the wicked, in particular, it will be by mercy, then, that He drives all those who hate Him and who hate peace and who embrace harsh judgment of others, away from the new world of peace that he will lift from its doldrums. Nevertheless, He has promised even those wicked that in the end, He will yet resurrect them ALL to an Immortal Forever body, and that they will then reward themselves according to the existence which they will have chosen for themselves by that time - which will be well AFTER the Millennial (1000 year) reign of Jesus upon the earth. In other words, even though they will die at His Coming, they will yet live, and choose their own world and standard of existence. As for who are those looking forward to His return, I believe I'm closing in on being prepared. So whether I go to meet Him before His Imminent return, which is not so far hence, or whether He suffers me to remain in the flesh to greet Him at His Coming, I know not ... but certainly, I would much rather be there, ready to greet Him. But I know the world in not yet fully ripened nor ready for this to occur: the time is not yet ... though I also know it is not far away now - not far away at all, in fact.
  • The only thing I want to know is where did you get the idea God was going to kill jews, Israel (the jews) is God's chosen people. and Yes I want Jesus to return.
  • You really believe all that hokey stuff? Who brainwashed you so thoroughly and when?
  • There's that loving god thing again. Crazy isn't it how contemporary Christians confuse Jesus, God, the God of the Old Testament?
  • Actually, I'd like Michael Jackson to return instead. Lol.
  • Well he sounds mighty peaceful huh? "Now when he returns he is going to kill the atheists, the gays, the Jews, and all the non-believers and send them to Hell." And people actually want this kind of turd to appear or re-appear? People ACTUALLY believe if they pretend to be better than everyone else they get to ride the magic escalator to hevvuuuun.. OHHH KAY then..
  • Look busy.
