  • Nothing, they're the same thing.
  • None, it's just that language comes in levels.
  • Some people are confused by the term "heterosexual" because they become more familiar with the definition of "homosexual" at an earlier age.
  • A simple twist of fate.
  • They are the same thing. They both mean being attracted to people of the opposite sex. Perhaps you are thinking of homosexual(being attracted to people of the same sex as you.)
  • well technically they mean the same, but they are not important though because they are only labels and for your information from scientific data, we are practically bisexual beings. we tend to be attracted to both sexes whether we consider ourself "heterosexual" or "straight as an arrow" or even "homosexual" It doesn't mean anything to me anyway. No one is 100% straight/ heterosexual for sure. the attraction could me as small as an admiration/crush to the same sex or as big as a potentially-explosive libido, it is still considered as an attraction. if i asked u have u ever had a crush at someone who is of the same sex. i'm sure at the back of your mind you would say, i did/do like (name of person)...well that's my opinion... ;-)
  • Different words that describe the same thing like: Automobile and car Wealthy and rich Homosexual and gay
