I doubt it. I'm sure you all know that sequels usually turn out worse, but to do that to one of the most powerful films of all time!? I hope they don't make a sequel because it's more than likely to fail as a film.

A good sequel requires a good storyline, not one with offspring or prequels added to it. But, what if, Tony had to adapt to our time? No, there is currently no "Scarface" sequel or prequel in the making. Not only would that be stupid, but it would kill any true fans of the original to see it butchered. For those who said it was going to be based on the game, for one, Al Pacino isn't as young as he once was (duh), he couldn't even do the voice of Tony Montana in the game due to years and years of chronic smoking has altered his voice and made it much deeper than it was in the early 80's. There is no Scarface, and if there was, I personally would execute anyone involved with such a random act of stupid-ness.

Don't know if their is a sequel, but remember Elvira left before everything happened what if she was pregnant she was the only one that survived the shootout she was not there. Tony was shoot in the back with a double barrel shot gun fell in the water what if he survived don't know that, I mean it will be kind of stupid to bring him back after getting shoot in the back at close range but hey we never know. I hope not. It was a good movie and should be left as a stand alone story. It doesn't need a remake either thank you very much. Sadly though I just know somebody is going to given Hollywood's penchant for doing remakes and needless sequels these days.
