  • I'm not sure but my friend's sheep got one and she left and the ear stayed big and deformed forever!
  • The blood will be resorbed, scar tissue will form, the ear will shrivel up (cauliflower ear). The cartilage bone may turn into bone tissue. Both the scar tissue and the bone can cause a lot of pain. If it was my dog I'd take it to the vet.
  • You need to take the dog to the vet. It's inhuman to let a dog have an infection and something painful on it's body when it can be fixed. If it was your ear, you would go to the doctor. If you have left it to long the ear flap may need to be amputated. If not the the dog probably will need some medication and care to get rid of it.
