I don't run. I'm not a good runner at all. I'm a swimmer. I used to swim competitively and won quite a few medals in high school and university. I still swim every week. :)

I used to be a pretty good runner. I ran 3.5 miles a day. But you blow out a knee and your running days are over. Now I run like a defensive lineman: 10 yards in any direction as fast as anyone, after that I'm no good.

I run every morning. I usually run between 5 and 8 miles daily. I love the freedom of it.

5K is my thing. I'm up to about 4.3 mile runs. I run them at a good pace. I can't say for sure what that pace is. I do very little running in the winter, but lots when the weather's decent. I like getting out there when it's so hot that most people wouldn't even think about running until the sun went down. I feed of knowing I'm probably the only person in the entire town out there running in that kinda heat.

I don't go to extremes, running to me is just more of doing the right thing, it can't hurt to do cardio. It's just regular bodily maintenance to keep me healthy and feeling good. I do a mile and a half 3-4 times a week plus other workouts.
