Can you still revert back to an old system restore point after you install a new operating system?

It can be done and I have over 40 years experience with computers. You could take it to a shop, spend about $300 to have it done. Your best bet on your own is scrub and reformat your hard drive and reinstall the operating system you want. If it sounds like losing data, first buy another hard drive (USB or mega chip and put what you have to it and recover them after.

If you partition your hard drive to operate two OSs then you may switch and revert back. Next time don't overwrite.. partition instead.
