I don't think there is any proof of this. DNA, archaeology and linguistics point to North Africa/Middle East.

If you are speaking individualy, we didn't. I was born in Ohio. If you are speaking anthropology, the evidence is that we came from mid to north central Africa.

A lot of the archaeological evidence has been found in South Africa and then later East Africa, although with slight morphological differences so to support the South Africa theory. It is difficult to dispute such consistent scientific evidence. However, it is still unknown why that first group of pre-modern humans left Africa.

Actually, it's most likely we all descended from one woman who lived in equatorial Africa about 75,000 years ago. This was not "eve," but a very fecund woman who belonged to a total human population of about 10,000, who were the survivors of a major natural disaster ( perhaps the last explosion of the Yellowstone "Super Volcano" ).
