US Navy - 5-1/2 years. Being 'Nuclear waste' earned me an 18 month extension due to advanced training.

I wasnt in any military unless you count being an Air Force brat when my dad served. BUT I wanted to come and personally thank the rest of you who have served and kept this land the great place it is. Still in. I have served over ten years now in the active army, and two years in the National Guard prior to that.

I have served from 1991 to 2005 with the Army Infantry, as a TOW Gunner (MOS 11H1E9) After three years of watching CNN,at age 41, I have just re-enlisted for another 8 years. I am volunteering to be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan ASAP. When I am done I will have served 41 of my 61 years in the Army, as I plan on another 20 years. Hooah !!!
