they are probably either just trying to be unique, or maybe they just like how the names sound. (I'm not saying the names are'nt ridiculus, or that the celebrities who pick them have any measure of good tast in picking them)

I believe they think society expects the names of their children to reflect their supposedly larger than life celebrity status. And don't forget that in this same environment they are constantly in competition with each other on every level.

They probably think it will give their children an edge when they enter the entertainment industry. Get ready for a crop of upcoming aspiring actors all with ridiculous names.

With these hollywood types, everything is fake and for publicity. They marry other famous people to make big news stories. Their kids have weird names to give the media something to 'buzz' about (even if the weird name and neglect the often give their kids scars them for life).

maybe the parents feel that when they grow up, they will have enough to get them through life or if not, that a name shouldn't hinder them from getting a good employment.. It's just a name which the person answers to.. Charles Manson, although his parents were not celebrities, was called 'no name' until they gave him a name because giving him a name was easier to call than 'no name.'
