"hang" a right
-
I say "hang a right" but I never thought of that as slang...
-
That way! NO! Not THAT WAY!! THAT WAY!! ...never seems to occur to me that drivers pay more attention to the road than my pointing my fingers for directions. hahaha
-
Bust a right, Hang a Louie. But one of my friend describes a U-turn as a "Louie" so there can be some confusion there.
-
"chucka righty" "chucka lefty" or "do a u-y......... "baaaaaa!" (optional)
-
bust a left? bust a right?
-
For right I say "Turn Left" and for left I say "Turn Right". I usually get confused with them
-
I used to just say cross the road or don't cross the road. When you turn left, you go across the road, and you don't when you turn right. Otherwise, I can't remember which is which without pretending to write because I'm right handed! lol

dur lemin! dur xellug!
-
hook left, hook right. or, NO YOU! GO THE OTHER WAY!
-
Gee and Haw but only when I'm driving a horse:-)
-
i say ahng a louie for left and i say go to the right for right
-
ying and yang
-
Hard to port. Hard to starboard.
-
My buddy says - take a Louie (left)
-
Not really. Whenever I need to give directions, first I have to think which hand is the one I write with, because i am right hand and then I know which is which.
-
Used to... "Turn Left" used to be "Take a Louey"... I'd never heard of one for "Turn Right", so I made up "Take a Reginald". Haven't used either for some time. ;-)

I have noticed that when giving direction and will I say turn left, for some reason the driver will turn right. Therefore I will say turn left...then repeat it by saying your other left or your other right which ever applies. Although I do throw in the F word from time to time. Not very exciting is it?
