I'm not tall compared to you, but I am the tallest girl in my entire family. I think it's cool. I wouldn't want to be shorter. I am just the right height for me. I'm 5'6" btw.

Hmmmm. I'm 5'8 too...generally, I don't feel that tall. So I'm okay with it. It'd be nice to be *really* small, though. Like a foot tall.

I'm almost 5'8", a 1/4" under and have been very happy at that height. I was always the tallest person in grade school and it took the guys a while to catch up but I didn't mind. Height or lack of it just never mattered to me one way or the other. I'm only an inch shorter than my husband but it's never been a problem. He doesn't care.

I can't say i hate being tall (I'm 5'8" also) but it makes it difficult to wear heels..and I have to date men who are at least a few inches taller than me petty I know...but just a thing I have

I think it is strange that I have always hated bieng short and I am 5'7! I want to be taller. lol.

I married a woman that is 5'10". I'm 6 even. And she looks great. Her only complaint is that it's hard for her to find shirts with sleeves long enough. My only complaint is . . . . there is no complaint (except when she cooks, but I don't say anything, so I do all of the cooking).

I not tall but am 5' and its not always fun to be short either. In high school I was only 4'11" and was picked on alot, and even now every thing is alway out of reach. House are built,MotorHomes are built, for tall people. Go to the store and it never fails what I want is on the top shelf and out of reach. So you see be short can be just as bad as being tall.

im 5'10 and sometimes, it would be great to wear really high heeled sexy shoes, thats one complaint, another is when you go out with shorties, you can feel like the schoolteacher in the group lol, other than that, its kool, because you can put on a little weight and it doesnt show, and clothes always look good on you. Another thing is that you appeal to a certain type of guy, some men prefer medium short girls

I'm 5'2" and I'm happy with my height...a couple inches wouldn't be too bad, but I can always pass by as cute and my fiance loves it :) I don't think there's anything wrong with 5'8"...just accept it and have fun, and use it to your advantage.

To be honest, I'm a guy who's 5'9" and wishes to be a little shorter. Kind of odd, but to me, it's just the same as anyone else here who has problems with their height.

Be careful what you wish for. You well may wish for those inches back in the future if you are afflicted by osteoporosis. I'd say 5'8" is a good height for a girl. If you are in school and taller than the boys, just wait, they will catch up and surpass you.
