Yes it has but now it's been remodeled for adults only. And the prices are way down, though food isn't included for most prices. From reading some of the reviews, it's cheaper to go out and eat for two than to eat for one person at the hotel. New website, too. http://www.sparkles.co.uk/

Yes indeed! it's been "reborn" as a really lovely couples hotel - the comfort and style of a boutique hotel but in Blackpool, a rare gem! I went on a couples weekend and Mrs Sparkle is both as eccentric but as caring, lovely and genuine as tripadvisor suggests. Website is still the same sparkles.co.uk
