No that I know of. But the thing is, it's not exactly worth it. One can only give 25 +s to a user and it takes a while to get to a level high enough when 25 times really matters.
-
No, just pathetic.
-
It should be. That's cheating plain and simple.
-
wouldn't that be more time consuming getting all those accounts to the point where they were giving more than a point or two each rather then spending your time doing what this site was designed for? I don't know if it is against the rules but seems like you be doing the same thing only with many accounts verses one. I have enough problem keeping this one moving forward.
-
No..but what's the point?
-
I can't say I've seen anything official saying that... It's kinda sad though.
-
not technically, but it is definitely jackassery;)
-
Not only that but it's incredibly dorky too.
-
If not, it should be. It is to get around being thrown into the Penalty Box - See http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/646289 , ALL comments.
-
I don't see why it would matter. Points don't really mean anything, in the big picture.
-
Yes that's against the rules.
-
If position and points are all important I suppose all is fair in Q&A on AB. But for a normal person who can be bothered with all of the fuss and who really cares about reputation and position on a table when there are real issued being discussed.
-
No. If it was against the rules, then the people here that have multiple accounts for that reason would no longer be active on this site. As it stands, though, the majority of them are still here and high level users. In one or two instances, the staff seem to be aware of the multiple accounts, but nothing is done to stop it.
-
Anyway you look at it thats cheating and wrong.
-
I certainly hope it is. If it is not it should be it is not only unethical it is just plain cheating.
-
It's not in the AB rules and I must have read and re-read it at least 5 times already, boring and mostly in bold that it is. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/330334
