  • Go to Compaq.com and search for the product like I have. Use driver guide only if you are desperate for a driver from a company that has gone belly up. The reason is, those drivers are uploaded by unknown individuals may be infected with a virus. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&dlc=en&product=216824&
  • i had a similar problem with a Dell-all-in-one printer that my friend bought 4 years ago and never used. He gave it to me however my new computer could not recognize it. I went to dell.com and an online service technician went ahead and installed the driver for me online while i watched. i am pretty sure you can do the same for yours. they will probably need the serial number, and some details regarding who the printer is registered to and when it was bought. good luck!:)
