• British people tend to out day month year to American month day year.
  • In England we would write: 31 / 12 (December) / 2008 The date is the smallest unit and goes first. The month is the second largest unit and goes second. And finally comes the year. In America people write: 12 (December) / 31 / 2008 I don't know why this format was changed.
  • Americans write it as 12/31/2008. British people write it as 31/12/2008. By the way, do you have a speech impediment? You said "Brithish". Lol:)
  • Americans just have to be different. They find out what everyone else does, then do it differently- just to spite.
