Johnny Walker Blue. When I can't afford that, I go JW Red.
-
Jim Beam 4 or 7 year
-
Southern Comfort (that's a sippin' whiskey, isn't it?) Been a LONG time since I had any, though. (No... I'm nowhere near an alcoholic... I'm diabetic...)
-
I'm a fan of Bourbon myself, so I go with Makers Mark. For every day drinking I go with Ballantines. It's quite cheap and pretty damn delicious.

Hi, Psy..glad you're back..missed you! Well, I'm not a really big fan of whiskey, but my Dad used to love "7 & 7" which was Seagram's 7 and 7-up....so on rare occasion, when I'm missing him a lot (he died in 1960) we'll (Jim and I) make a "7 & 7" and toast my dad (whom Jim never met) and his dad and mom (whom I never met) and while it's not our favorite drink, at that moment it is the most delicious drink in the world! :) Happy Tuesday and ((hugs))! :)

I VERY rarely drink at all, but when I drink whiskey, I prefer Wild Turkey 101
-
As long as it was made in Scotland it's fine by me, although I'm not a lover of "peaty" single malts.
-
my favorite whiskey is homemade "moonshine" by a close friend of mine. good for sipping straight..extremely cold! (keep it in the freezer.) when i drink legal"whiskey" i prefer good irish whiskey" the same way. ice cold straight
-

Scotch.
-
IF drinking it straight I love Jameson, mixed with coke I love Jack Daniels, and if I need a cheaper variety that still tastes pretty good I go with Kesslers.
-
Gentlemen Jack is my favorite, If that isn't available I'll go with Makers Mark.
-
Scotch.
-
Crown Royal
-
Bourbon: Jack Daniels...Crown Royal for very special occasions. Scotch: Glenmorangie, single malt.
-
I am pretty ignorant about whiskey. However, every now and then I like some Jack, because it tastes sweet to me, like maple syrup. Even rarer yet...I like Drambuie, or a rusty nail made with Drambuie. This is a liquer made from scotch, that tastes as sweet on the tongue as honey.
-
Practically the only one I drink is Crown Royal. I'm a member of the Society of the Crown. http://www.crownroyal.com/

American Whiskey - Jack Daniels Single Barrel Scotch - 10 Year Laphroaig
-
The Famous Grouse, because as far as I know it was my maternal grandfather's favourite whiskey from last square year until his decease 65 years later at the age of 90.
-
Single Malt Scotch, it has the most variety between brands and the most flavor of any whiskey that I've had. Laphroaig is truly the most flavorful single malt, it can taste like a piece of oak with some liquid smoke to a first timer, after drinking several other single malts I've come to like Laphroaig. here are my picks though: Irish = Jameson Canadian = Pendleton (might be local to the northwest) Tennessee = George Dickel Bourbon = Maker's Mark Single Malt Scotch = Glenrothes Vintage 1991 or Macallan's 12 yr old if Glenrothes is unavailable. Blended Scotch = Chivas
-
Whiskey: Jameson Irish Whiskey Bourbon: Maker's Mark Scotch: Johnny Walker Black (Blue if I win Lotto)
-
Dewars for Scotch. Old Grand-Dad for Bourbon. Canadian Club for Canadian. Jamesons for Irish. Out of all of these, I usually end up drinking Dewars.

I prefer Irish. ;-)

'Whiskey' is made in the US and Ireland. 'Whisky' is made in Scotland and Canada (and Wales and Japan and India and Germany and France) The best whisky I have tasted is Seagram's Crown Royal. But the best of either spelling, was Jameson 1780. They now call it Jameson 12 Year Old Special Reserve.
