The wrong spelling of the word "faggot," mostly spelled wrong by young people who spell it how they pronounce the word. Faggit is the term used for the homosexual as spread over both "Faggit" and "Faggot". Well, of course I don't know for sure, but I once was told that sometimes when heretics were burnt, sodomites were bound and placed among kindling with the bundles of sticks (faggots) and so the bodies of the sodomites were used as faggots. There was supposedly some feeling that sodomites weren't even worthy of being seen during their burning-- they were "lower" than heretics. Again, this is just an explaination I heard long ago.
