  • It's hard to say, since it depends on if the bullet grazed the victim, traveled in and out without hitting organs, went right through the lungs or liver, etc etc etc. I've seen people live through stuff like that, but it's more rare with a .40. I actually had a person run 100plus feet down a road after getting shot through and through in the head with a .45, which actually severed the optic nerves. He was running blind, and actually made it quite far before collapsing. Please don't shoot anyone to experiment. Really!

  • This question cannot be answered with just this stated information. Bullets have the tendency to travel rather oddly throughout the body
  • I emptied 30 rounds of from M-14 and the guy wouldn't go down, and that's a 7.62 rounds (like a 30-06 Deer Rifle)when he was about 10 yards I shot him with a 45 and he went down.
