In our Latin Class we were to choose our own Latin Name... mine was Vulcan Ares Marcus... (Vulcan - greek god of the forge and fire... ugly but very skilled (didn't know the ugly part until after I picked the name) though he did end up marrying Aphrodite (goddess of beauty) so maybe it wasn't a bad choice... Ares - greek god of war (we all know who this one is)... Marcus (Normal Latin Name)...) Technically in Rome... Emperors and men of extraordinary standing became deified... so pick a latin name... it is probably mythological...

Two choices: 1) Loki, after Loki the Red of Norse mythology, a complete screw-up who was always pissing off the major gods. 2) Til, after Til Eulenspiegel from German folktales and the comic piece by Richard Strauss, also referred to as the merry prankster. He played tricks on the people of his village, for which he was eventually hung, a truly hilarious bit of music. If there is any similarity between Til and my kid, we're talking about justice well served.
