Oy vey, does this question make me feel old. My favorite classics would go more toward the Hepburn/Tracy or Cary Grant variety. Adam's Rib, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, An Affair to Remember and the like;)

Smokey and the Bandit was a great film, though technically impossible. No way they could have come even close to finishing the mission on time. Caddy Shack was also a great one. My all time favorite is the original Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
