How safe is to rent your own house if we've to relocate to a different because of job change? will there any problems with the tenants if we go through a good property management company for the maintenance etc?

Truthfully i would not think you would have any problems if you both stick to a well known estate agent. Im not an expert on this subject but i think that the new tennants who are renting from you should be checked from all angles, just like when you purchase a property from scratch. I think you can leave whatever you wish to leave for the people renting, look in to this properly before you decide, good luck in your new Job.

A lot of people do this. Just make sure you screen the tenants carefully! Check and recheck.

There's always problems with tenants. I have several rental properties. It is a pain in the ass most of the time, but everyone once in a while you get that perfect tenant that pays the rent on time and doesn't trash your house. Good luck.
