I have a female cat who is 7 years old and who has, no lie, slept on my bed with me EVERY night since i first got her. But then year ago i got a male kitten (who i am going to keep) and since the first day he came home, he attacked her (territory). They still hate eachother. And now he always sleeps with me every night. Whenever my family goes on vacations or even just one weekend, my first female cat sleeps with me the first night i get home because she missed her mom (me) and then every night after that the male cat sleeps with me (territory).

when i was lil i had a cat Coco, she slept on my pillow above my head. why i dont know, me and my boyfriend have a cat since we were together but we didnt always live together, the cat sleeps with him. my only explination is like everyone else said, they find comfort and love in their primary care-giver..i fight bootsey all the time to sleep with me, he only comes to me when im in the kitchen b/c unlike my boyfriend i like to give him can food and hes stuck on only feeding him dry food. im good enough for the food, hes good enough for the cuddle...what a situation!!

My cat recently died but before she did she would sleep with me everynight. always right in between my legs. I'd have to turn her so I could rool over, Enjoy and love your pet you never know how long you will be blessed with them.
