You can't PROVE any are true but neither can you prove them false. But you can disagree and debate their teachings and try to determine whether you think they are something to be believed and followed. If you have a thought in your mind, it happens in a place that is special just to you, noone else can see or hear the things that go on inside your head right? That is the place that your relationship with God happens. It is a personal private place that is not seen by your priest or minister or next door neighbor. God is able to know your thoughts before you have them, and it is here that true salvation occurs. This God is the God that the Hebrews worshiped when they left Egypt it is the God that named Israel, it is the God that created all life as we know it. He has sent His Son as the only mediator between Himself and man and has given Us the HOoly Spirit as a teacher to show us his way. The scripture says that this will be foolishness to the unbeliever so I guess it has proven itself right again. Let he who has ears hear and he who has eyes see.

There are several true religions. The Church of Reality, The Church of Bob, The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Ball are some good ones. I don't think there is a true church anymore, They all seem to be corrupted one way or another. I believe it's the personal relationship with God. Think it's any more realistic to be led around by the nose and told what to do or say.

I have found the religions that boast they are both true and a perfect religion are always the most despicable ones of all along with their membership. The one that God says is true. You can't trust any human being to give you this answer. God has given his authority to one religion on the Earth. I would look for a religion that most closely follows the same teachings and has the same organization that Jesus Christ organized on the Earth. If you believe in Jesus Christ, and believe that He organized his Church on this Earth, you will believe that the true Church existed upon this Earth at one time. Trying to find that Church in this maze of Churches is the hard part. However, with God's help, all things are possible. After the death of Jesus and the Apostles, revelation ceased. Why did it cease? Because men stopped relying on God and started depending upon themselves for their answers. Men did not go to God for answers to doctrinal questions. Remember, God said, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him". James 1:5 After the death of Jesus and the Apostles, the Christian Clergy became corrupt and changed the organization of the Church and its doctrines and ordinances, and stopped ministering other ordinances. For awhile, the Christian Church went through the "Dark Ages" where it was illegal to own a Bible, or for the commoner to be able to read. The Clergy put the "fear of God" in their subjects, and kept them uneducated because it was easier to control the people. Then the Renaissance Period came along. The Church went through a reformation. During this time, so many men have interjected their own opinions and when the original Christian Church didn't agree with them, they split of and started their own religion based on their opinions. That is why we see so many religions today. However, these religions were founded on somebody's interpretation of the Bible, and did not depend on revelation. They acted on their own authority, and not the authority of God. If there are any religions that say there is no such thing as revelation, you are guaranteed that religion is not a religion of God, but is formed on the basis of someone's opinion. Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." Throughout the Bible, if the people followed the words of a Living Prophet, they were able to know the truth. Look for a religion that believes in prophecy and revelation, then ask God if this is the True religion. God has promised us that if we ask in faith, he will answer us. (James 1:5) If anybody tells you not to pray to get an answer, remember that Satan teaches not to pray, and God tells us to "pray always". Another sign of a false Church is one that encourages you not to pray. Another sign of the True religion is how the leaders got their authority. If the preachers or holders of the Priesthood of God can trace their line of authority back to Jesus Christ, you are guaranteed that religion is the true Church. If they can't, then you will know that they took the authority of God upon themselves. Ask those who preach to you to show you their line of authority. You will be able to recognize a religion as false if they say, "You cannot learn the truth", or "All religions are false, so the best thing to do is nothing and belong to your own religion". That is exactly what Satan wants us to do: NOTHING. That way we are sure to not find the truth, and will be in Satan's power. Every religion has *some* truth to it. The tricky part is finding the religion that encompasses *all* truth, including those truths espoused by the partly true ones.

Pure religion!!! How did I come up with this as my answer? I found it in the book of James Chapter 1 v-27.

Christ said in John 14:6 that he is the way the truth and the life the only way to the father is through me. It is easy to build the straw man with any religion just to knock it down. People look to science for facts as if it takes science to prove truth in religion. Science began with people like Isaac Newton who is buried in West Minister Abby with Charles Darwin who was a professed Christian when he died. Our science pioneers used science as an act of worship and awe over God creation. When I say Gods creation I mean Yahweh or Jehovah. The god of the Holy Scriptures. The greatest thing about the Dead Sea Scrolls is that they simply prove that scripture today says the same thing it said then. It hasnt changed at all. Look @ science. science is always proving itself to be wrong with its carbon dating, global recession in the 80s to global warming today, all the way to the world being flat. yet the scriptures remain unchanged. the fact that they remain unchanged doesnt make them true. Or even the fact that science has never disproven any of the scripture but more affirmed them. Science is on the Bible side. Though this logic is Deductive Reasoning, just because you cant prove it wrong means it must be right. That logic could apply to the giant sphagetti ball thing. There is also Irreplaceable Complexity. This would be more for disproving Darwinism, which isnt hard when you just review basic facts. No Im not talking about natural selection. more evolution. To sum it all up. You can drop the fansy words, theology, and science jargon and you still have nothing to lean on. When they shall band together, we shall accuse them of crimes and present a different story to the world for we shall own all the media. We will use our media to control the flow of information and their sentiment in our favour. When they shall rise up against us we will crush them like insects, for they are less than that. If you are looking for a completely true religion, you will find none, because religions are man-made. But if you are looking for a meaning in life, consider the God of the Bible! Jesus said: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. And no one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). And in my experience, He IS! Christianity is not a religion, but a relationship - relating to the One who created us as relational beings - established through His love and grace, and received by us by faith!

First lets define religion:ROMANS 10:3 for they being ignorant of the righteousness of God and going about to establish their own righteousness have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.Cain killed Able cause God favored Abel's worship which made Cain jealous.But Abel did his sacrifice as his father Adam had taught him, Cain as, religion is,did his sacrifice the way he wanted to. Cain and Abel were told how God wanted to be worshiped(a burnt offering)just as He a told present day Christians to worship Him in SPIRIT and TRUTH. If religion was worshiping Him in spirit and truth then there would just be one religion but denominations of the Christian faith are the religions today and if all denominations had the Holy Spirit(John 14:26)there would be no denominations for Christian would be all in one accord in Christ as He demands. The reason all Christians do not have the HS is because the HS only enters the hearts of those who are void of self.

If you take the time to read the Bible; and not just one version, you have the KJV, NIV, NWT, and others; research and compare, then as Jesus said in John 8:32 "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". so what does that mean for you? John 17:3 says "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and, Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. KJV the NWT puts it this way "this means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. Both of these scriptures show that the Bible is the way to Know God and thereby gain everlasting life. My suggestion, is find the Group that uses only the Bible.
