as far as I am aware no they wont work. But PS1 games should work in PS2 console.

Pushy pushy ..... and No.... they will not. PS1 plays only PS1 games PS2 plays PS2 and PS1 games PS3 plays PS3, PS2 and PS1 games.... It's called "backwards compatability"

No they won't but ps1 games will play in ps2

I wish they did but they don't. If they did people wouldn't buy the playstation2. They would just buy the games.
