A horse is tied to a 15 ft. rope and there is a bail of hay 25 ft. away from him. Yet the horse is able to eat from the bail of hay. How is this possible?

The rope it tied to the horse but is not tied to anything else!

Just because the horse is tied to a rope doesn't mean that the rope is tied to something else. The horse can go anywhere he or she pleases until someone ties the rope to something.

The rope is tied to the horse's tail and the horse is at least 10 feet long from head to tail allowing his mouth to reach the hay. OR: The HORSE is 25 feet away from the bail but tied to a post that is only 10 feet from the bail. Therefore he can turnaround and walk to the bail and eat.
