Well think about it. Sony and Nintendo don't work together, so in order for the Wii remote to be adaptable with PS2 games, it would have to be built for it.

No but you can use it as a 3d mouse on a PC it's cool

These people are way to squared thinking. Every day appear new hacks and adapters for many different things. Already exists an adapter to play Wii with a ps2 controller but oh wait obviouslly wasn't designed by nintendo or sony because why would a company that sees the other as a competition do this, right? . So just keep an eye out.
