Yes it does :)
-
Sometimes i think it depends on who the person is.
-
totally... but i'm an energetic person who's always smiling and laughing and annoying others but always laughs at my mishaps and mistakes and idiocy... What does that do?
-
Sure does! It's refreshing to see someone smiling and cheerful! So many people walk around avoiding eye contact, looking all grumpy all day! I heart smiing, up beat, playful people!
-
Absotively possilutely.....
-
Of course it does. I don't think that an old crusty sour puss would make my day.
-
Yes, as long as its genuine and not cheezy and fake.
-
It sure does!!!!!
-
.. and not asking for change, sure!
-
I am joy in human form, my very presence is sunshine ;-)
-
yes it makes me happy and i usaully return the favor to someone else.
-
It isn't all too often for that to happen and when it does, I remember it for quite awhile. Thanks for reminding me and hope it happens to you more often too.
-
Absotutely..the smile invites one in..the personality and playful mood make the time spent valuable and uplifting. Life is good! :)
-
You bet it does...
-
Yep - & if they're loaded and buying lunch it makes the day and the evening!
-
If sure does! I love it :)
-
You bet is does! It's nicely refreshing from the down-trodden and 'poor me' attitude one meets with regularity. I'm a glass is half-full type person & it's wonderful to meet others who think alike. :-)
-
This a people person. i am a people person. I think everyone enjoys being around people like this. These people can somehow make you forget your problems and maybe even make you smile. It truly makes my day to surround myself with a person with this type personality. Remember, it takes twice as many muscles to frown as it does to smile.
-
Others tell me I'm perceived that way. I don't see it. I don't try to be anything in particular. I do figure that you might as well smile as not. My boss frowns on folks who don't take the job seriously, and she does lots of frowning in my direction.

Not necessarily, unless I'll be with them for a while. When you pass someone on the street and they give you a big happy smile, that smile only last for the few seconds they smiled, and I believe that smile is a form of greeting or acknowledgment.

Not always. Sometimes when I see these people I wonder if they have a brain, mostly when at work. Not too many people there are happy and upbeat. And some of the people I have met like that are a few beers short of a six-pack.

I agree with Yeahwell. If the upbeat attitude and smile is up front then yes, it makes my day. I've know folks who tried to be that way and thought it worked ----it didn't.
