  • Yes. Romans 10:8-9 "But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
  • Yes. Paul quotes Jesus directly at least twice. He repeats Jesus’ words from the Last Supper in 1 Corinthians 11:23–25, and in Acts 20:35 he cites a saying of Jesus not found in the Gospels (“It is more blessed to give than to receive”). He also refers to Jesus’ teaching on divorce in 1 Corinthians 7:10–11 (“not I, but the Lord”). Paul doesn’t quote Jesus often because his letters address specific church problems, not the life of Jesus, but he clearly knew and used Jesus’ teachings. 4/10.26
