No, that's not **racism**. Racism is a particular type of discrimination that is based on (obviously) "race" rather than on things like ethnicity / culture / language. If our Intolerant American tells any and all Uber drivers who do not speak English well that they should learn English, regardless of their race, then (clearly) that Intolerant American is not a racist.

No, I don't think so. If any American emigrated to another country, the people there would expect us to learn their language. 10/2/24

10/3/2024, my take on this subject is: black Americans experience racism far worse than immigrants. Police brutality and shootings among black people is never-ending: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unarmed_African_Americans_killed_by_law_enforcement_officers_in_the_United_States I would think the black guy who told the immigrant to learn English was having a bad day or he wanted to pretend he is tough by bullying the immigrant to get attention on social media. That's exactly what he did is get attention. LOL 😂

The problem is, even though in of itself it's not racist, it is usually used in racist context. Take for example if you went to a country where you could not speak the language, and they told you to learn Nigerian, or German, because dealing with you makes their life harder when trying to understand you. Plus the article says "This ain't your f*cking country, this ain't your f**King Country, learn English."

No if he doesn't want to speak the language why does he want to live in the country ,dont let the door hit you on the way out.
