Believe in Christ, and what he did, as you are baptised into both his death and resurrection. So repentance is to turn away from sin, die to the flesh (worldly self), and to be reborn of the spirit, a new creation, a son or daughter of God, the Holy Spirit of God lives within, the light, the truth, with grace, you become the Holy Temple of God, all one body in Christ.

That's a hard one to answer in our permissive society today. However, perhaps when Jesus told the woman they were going to stone to "go and sin no more" He was establishing a standard of behavior. She was forgiven and expected to leave that sort of thing behind. If you read the Acts of the apostles, it tells a lot about what the 1st century Christians expected. 7/22/24

I disagree with you on this one sir. He didn't tell her she was forgiven because she had not yet repented. You are referring to the woman caught in adultery, right? At least that's the way I remember it. I haven't studied it lately though. -

You certainly could be right about that, but this is what it says in John; In John 8:1-11, it is recounted that Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives. Early in the morning, He came to the temple, where a crowd had gathered. The scribes and Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery and placed her in front of the crowd. They said to Jesus, “The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?” Instead of condemning her, Jesus responded with wisdom and compassion. He stooped down and wrote in the dust with His finger. When they kept demanding an answer, He stood up and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” The accusers, beginning with the oldest, slipped away one by one until only Jesus and the woman remained. Jesus asked her, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” She replied, “No, Lord.” Then Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” This powerful moment illustrates Jesus’ mercy, forgiveness, and willingness to save us from condemnation. It reminds us that none of us are without sin, and His grace is available to all who seek it. You can find this story in the New Testament, specifically in John 8:1-111. ? If I recall correctly there are over 600 commandments in the scriptures you might want to start with the Big 10 I think they're in Exodus they're in another book too but I don't remember where. Of course this is if you really want to know frankly I think you're just wanting to fight about it so I won't bother finding exact references.

The worst of sinners can be forgiven and become Christians if they truly repent. This is what the Bible declares: "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous." Romans 5:19
