I have come across probably hundreds of people in my life so far. Iβm 41 years old and have been hurt mentally so many times by the wrong people. There are people who can hurt and desert you. The lesson I learn is to be aware of the presence of others and to be careful of who I should be around with by analysing them before thinking of getting involved. I am mindful of the differences in people. Each person is unique. We all come from different walks of life, different views, opinions, personalities and experiences. I know that there are control freaks in the world who expect others to be a certain way but thatβs not how people work in reality. The lesson to learn from that is to always be yourself and if anyone has a problem with that, itβs their loss.

In your life you will come across very few people who are genuinely great people. These people will often annoy you, but the good in them far outweighs the bad. You will also come across few people who are genuinely evil. Those people may often make you feel good, but will ultimately betray you without cause whenever they believe it suits them to do so. Most people you encounter in life will be forgettable to you - either because you don't have the opportunity to form a bond or because there is just no desire for one. You cannot choose anyone's path but your own. Try to be the first one: Cherish every moment with others who are the first type, avoid the second type at all costs and do your best to reach out to the third type, but, if they reject you, just cope with them.
