  • Maybe beef and bean burritos with guac and pico. Or maybe salmon with rice 4/20/23

quac, or guac? Sounds great! I'll bring my habanero sauce if you invite me! lol. Do you fish? I can't hardly afford beef or salmon anymore. And I haven't bought beef since mad cow disease. Mostly due to cost. I eat it though.

Oops! Guac. I used to fish. I'm pretty stove up these days with arthritis. I buy salmon from the freezer section when safeway puts their waterfront bistro brand wild salmon on sale. I find that if I only shop the sales and the managers specials, I can still afford beef and other meats. After polling the company, the consensus is burritos tonight. Glad I didn't thaw the salmon out!

Salmon is better for your arthritis than beef. I have it, too. Now they call it degenerative joint disease DJD. Turmeric, ginger and green tea are supposed to help as well. I usually shop Aldi for groceries. I have to get someone to take me so I can't just run to whatever store I want anytime. Hope you get to feeling better!

My wife is an herbalist. She keeps me loaded up on the curatives and restoratives to try and help with the arthur.

Sounds like you're in good hands then. She probably knows way more about it than I do.
    • Linda Joy
She should come on here and teach us about herbs!
  • Monkey’s brain (think of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom)
    • Linda Joy
No way I'm eating anything that comes from a monkey! I don't want AIDS!
    • Shadow Of The Mind
It’s a joke. If you saw Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom you would know what I am talking about

      I have, and I know.
  • salami and eggs
  • Tonight: my own variation of "Hoppin' John". I use crowder peas instead of black-eyed peas, and pork loin was on sale, so I'm using that (cooked it myself) instead of ham.
