• Is the dog usually aggressive towards cats, kittens or other animals and how close to giving birth is she? If she isn't usually aggressive it is possible she sees the kittens as a threat to her unborn puppies. I would suggest keeping the kittens away from her and away from her space.

She is seven and been only around people until I got my dog two months ago and is territorial and hogs the food

I think she sees the kittens as a possible threat, best to keep them apart.

Alright and thank you so much.
  • shes a cat killer she will kill them all given half a chance
  • Probably. Separate them. Then learn and find out why. "A dog killing a beloved cat is a cat owner's worse nightmare come true. As much as one was attached to the cat, blaming a dog for acting out of instinct is not helpful. Instinct is hardwired behavior that can be managed and sometimes, changed but never totally removed. Following are some tips to recover from the loss and prevent future mishaps."
  • I think Linda is right. Separate the dog and cat as much as possible. I'd tell your boyfriend of the situation .

I did and he is blaming me and my dog, so this is probably it for us.

I don't blame you for breaking up with him. Sounds like a jerk. I wish you well.
