Still cheaper than the UK! It's sold in litres here, locally about £1.34 per litre which works out at around £6.10 a gallon (an Imperial Gallon is about 1.2 US Gallons) which is over $8.

That's one of the reasons I'll never live in California - it costs too much to live. I live in the Midwest where gas is around $3.33. That's way too high, also.

dalcocono That price is high even for CA! The news said tha CA, HI and NV have the highest prices per gallon in the nation right now. In NV, it was $3.79 a gallon on the same day as Bridgeport $5.69

Last I checked, $3.499 for regular with ethanol and diesel cost a firstborn child and a limb of your choice per gallon.

Its the diesel fuel that is killing us farmers and fertilizer I am currently cutting down on fertilizer thus in the end we will suffer on yields when harvesting they will be way down the markets are also taking their toll on us! Repair parts are going through the roof also for farm equip.
