Depends on what the child had a phobia of. For instance, our daughter was afraid of our drive through car wash. She watched her siblings go through tje car was over a few months. Then she finally agreed to try it but we all had to be in the car with her. Now she likes to go to the drive through the car wash with us all. However, I would not try that if she was afraid of snakes. I would just let her be afraid of snakes 😃
