Should I take Biomed or Engineering? What can I do to make a confident decision?
In a few weeks I will have to choose a pathway for high school. There are two options I am considering- biomed and engineering. Biomed is a class that is mostly about human medical stuff. Engineering is a class where you design and build. I am really conflicted about which one to choose. Right now I want to be a wildlife veterinarian or a zoologist, so I guess the pathway that relates to that the best is biomed. But biomed is mostly human medical stuff, which is cool but I am not that interested in. I like engineering too and I think it's fun, but I feel like I will regret not going into biomed. The biggest issue is that I have to stay in the same pathway for four years, and I know my interests will probably change. What can I do to make a confident decision?

Not many high schools have zoology, which is probably what you wish you could take, but I would think biomed will give you an idea of basic medical function which you could apply to zoology at the college level. Engineering is a broad term anyway: it could include anything from building bridges to building nanobots, but is going to involve lots of math.
