The AC went out on my vehicle. What should I check first?
The heat makes these darn headaches worse. why-O-why in the middle of summer. : (

You could need a freon refill.

agree with Jenny the gas has probably leaked out being the usual reason the ac doesn't work. Check the evaporator fan is working if its not working the compressor wont work, check the fuse. but in most cases unless you can pressure test it find the leak fix it vac the system down and regas it get a mechanic with the gear to fix it. Half the GM cars we fixed last year the leak was at the Schrader valve
