  • Yes, very much so. I had an experience back in 1975 leaving no doubt in my mind the Lord God and Jesus are very real. That evening the Lord God spoke to me verbally and without doubt. It never has happened again but after that experience it left no doubt in my mind. I was not in an accident or any life threatening occurrence. Never doubt the Lord God is real as is Jesus Christ.

I have no doubt. Thank you.
  • Jesus was SENT to us...to tell us about the " Kingdom"..this is fully explained at jw.org. Adam and Eve caused death for mankind... Genesis 2: 16,17 Jesus' sacrifice as a perfect person, REMOVED it. The benefit to obedient ones will be after Armageddon, when wickedness of all kinds, including Satan himself will be done away with. Jehovah God will not reward disobedience or even 'non' compliance...by sitting in pews doing nothing... (Matthew 26:54) In that case, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must take place this way?

I am not trying to cause an argument but the teachings of the JW are not true. they have changed scripture to suit what they want to indoctrinate their people incorrectly. JWs do not teach the Word of God.
    • Rick Myres
JW's teach that Jesus was just a man. They change God's words to suit others and not God. If anyone wants to argue they will not get me to. The Bible is God's words and God never changes.

Hi thinker...All J.W.'s preach the Kingdom...in obedience to what Jesus asked,,,Matthew 28: 19,20 And we were asked by his father to listen to Jesus... We do not support tradition...or the trinity. So if you come back to this forum, please explain your thoughts on what IS the word of God... And, Rick...Jesus existed in heaven BEFORE he was SENT...as a man... Proverbs 8: 22-31...
  • I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and how He is my lord and Saviour.
  • Jesus Christ never wrote a word in his life. What is passed off as "the bible" is largely the word of third hands accounts. Which is surprising as Jesus is allegedly the central character in the book yet had zero input into it.

The Bible is True. Jesus is The Christ! Praise God!
    • Rick Myres
Jesus did write if you ever read the Bible He even bent down and wrote with His finger in the dirt when others were ready to stone the woman for adultery. Plus the Revelation is the words of Jesus. Revelation 2, 3: are the epistles of Jesus to the seven churches. So He DID have input. Praise the name of Jesus!
    • jshm22
Actually, you're wrong on all accounts Rick, That adultery "account" does not appear in the original St John's Gospel. Also Revelations 2,3 were written by John of Pitmos and other obscure authors AFTER Jesus. The authors never claimed to know Jesus. Thus the point stands Jesus had no input in the bible.

There is a scripture which proves that the Bible is the work of Jehovah God...and not just men... No man can have this effect on a set of laws... Revelation 22: 18,19 And the simple fact that the Bible has remained constant over so long a time could not be brought about by ONLY men who have a very limited life time...
    • Linda Joy
All Scripture was written by direct revelation from God. God bless you all!
    • pugwashjw65
Linda...you are correct...His thoughts and he used men as the scribes...Daniel did not know what he was writing but was obedient and still wrote it down...
  • Yes I do. I also have a Testimony of Joseph Smith.
  • jshm22, I will not argue with you about that. The Bible is God's words and He will never change to suite anyone. Read the Bible with prayer.
  • Back when I was a child my mother kept say she was embarrassed that I nor my bother went forward until I finally did and had no idea what I was doing. Years later. . . . in 1980 I heard the words about salvation again but I REALLY heard it that moment. God had given me faith to believe and hear Him calling me. Praise the name of Jesus!
  • Did you know that Isa, The Son of Marium, in The Noble Qur'an is the same Jesus, The Son of Mary, in The Holy Bible? https://quran.com/3/45-55?translations=20
    • Linda Joy
I have a testimony of my own religion.
  • This is what he asked... (Matthew 28:19, 20) Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.
    • Linda Joy
This says nothing about your personal testimony of Jesus Christ. Your testimony is written in your words from your experiences and your feelings that's what makes it a testimony and it always involves a test that's how you get the testimony.
    • pugwashjw65
Hi Linda...then my testimony is citing scriptures for those who do not get to read the Bible...ands from ANY translation... Used to knock on doors till my health failed...but hoping it will come good...In the NEW system, I am assured of it. (Isaiah 33:24) And no resident will say: ?I am sick.? The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error.
  • The more I live in this world, which is getting darker by the day (they don't even hide luciferianism anymore), and the more I see the flesh at war with the spirit, the more I know Jesus is real, how else are we going to be saved from this? Ezekiel 12:12 Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see, and ears to hear but does not hear; for they are a rebellious house. Matthew 13:15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’
